Installation

Download and install the apps on your devices

Desktop Sender AppFree

The sender app runs invisibly on your computer, capturing screenshots and streaming audio to your iOS device. Completely free to download and use.

Download from our download page
Run the installer (Windows) or drag to Applications (macOS)
The app launches minimized to system tray—completely invisible
macOS: For hidden system audio capture, install BlackHole (included in DMG) and configure a Multi-Output Device in Audio MIDI Setup. See the included ReadMe.txt for details.
iOS Receiver App$49.99

The receiver app displays captured content, runs AI analysis, and provides voice responses. Purchase once from the App Store for lifetime access.

Set Interview Type

Configuring your interview type helps the AI provide more relevant and targeted responses.

Available Interview Types:

Tip: For technical interviews, the AI will prioritize code solutions and explanations. For behavioral interviews, it focuses on STAR method responses.

Supports PDF and plain text formats
Resume is stored locally on your device only

Step-by-Step Connection

  1. 1Connect both your computer and iOS device to the same WiFi network
  2. 2Open the iOS app and note the IP address displayed on the main screen
  3. 3On your computer, press Ctrl+Alt+4 (Windows) or ⌘⌥4 (Mac) to open settings
  4. 4Enter the iOS device's IP address and click Connect

Pro Tip: For maximum privacy, create a mobile hotspot from your phone and connect both devices to it. This creates an isolated network.

In IntervAI, a "Task" represents a single question or problem you want AI assistance with. During a typical interview, you'll create multiple tasks—one for each question the interviewer asks.

Start a New Task

When the interviewer presents a new question, start a new task to capture it.

Press Ctrl+Alt+1 to start a new task
Audio recording begins automatically to capture the interviewer's question
The audio is streamed in real-time to your iOS device for transcription

Capture the coding problem, system design diagram, or any visual content on screen.

Press Ctrl+Alt+2 to capture the screen
Screenshot is instantly sent to your iOS device (no sound, no visual indicator)
You can capture multiple screenshots during a single task

Real-Time Audio Analysis

Audio from your task session is continuously processed for intelligent assistance.

Audio is streamed continuously while the task is active
AI transcribes and analyzes the interviewer's questions in real-time
Combined with screenshots, the AI provides comprehensive, context-aware suggestions
How it works: The AI combines the visual content (screenshots) with audio context (what the interviewer is saying) to generate the most relevant response suggestions.

End Task & Start Next

When you've finished answering a question, end the current task and start a new one for the next question.

Press Ctrl+Alt+3 to end the current task
Recording stops, and the task is saved to your iOS device's history
Ready for the next question—just press Ctrl+Alt+1 again
